"The theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property."
— Karl Marx, The Communist Manifesto (Chapter II)
We believe in the opposite.
At Liberty Ground, we help working Americans reclaim ownership — keeping land out of the hands of global corporations, and in the hands of those who value freedom.
Founded in 2024, Liberty Ground is a small, family owned land investment company. Our mission is simple: to make land liquidation easy for sellers, and to put property back into the hands of hardworking Americans — not foreign buyers or global corporations looking to lock up land and limit access for everyday people.
At Liberty Ground, we have one phrase that sums up our business approach “Blue Collar”. We're upfront, we don’t overcomplicate things, and we’re not salesmen. If a deal doesn’t make sense for you, we’ll tell you. We value honesty, transparency, and doing right by people — plain and simple.
Once we purchase your land, we assess whether any minor improvements — such as soil (perc) testing, land clearing, or minor subdivisions — are needed to make the property more marketable. In many cases, no improvements are necessary. From there, we use a variety of marketing channels to connect the land with the right buyers — typically individuals looking to build a dream home on acreage or those seeking recreational or hunting property.
A minor subdivision is a simple land-splitting process that allows a larger parcel of land to be divided into a few smaller lots, usually with fewer requirements than a major development.
We believe in minor subdivisions because they create a practical way to turn large, expensive parcels into more affordable pieces of land that everyday families can actually buy. Instead of one buyer needing the money for a large tract, multiple families can purchase smaller lots at a lower price point—making land ownership more accessible while still preserving the rural feel of the area. In many cases, minor subdivisions also help communities grow in a more natural, low-impact way, without encouraging large-scale, high-density developments.
Once we agree on a price and have a signed purchase agreement, the transaction moves into the title and escrow process. We work with reputable local title companies in the areas where we operate, and we're always open to using a title company of your choice if it makes you more comfortable.
We cover all closing costs, and there are no commissions involved — our offer is 100% net to you.
The title company will:
Once the sale is complete, they’ll send your payment via wire transfer, direct deposit, or check, depending on your preference.
If you’re out of town or live in another state, no problem — most title companies offer flexible remote closing options, including mobile notaries and electronic document signing, making the process simple and convenient no matter where you are.
At Liberty Ground, we believe that every deal should make sense for both the seller and the buyer. We encourage landowners to explore all of their options before deciding to sell.
